Product Overview

The Large Diameter HDPE Solid Wall Pipe Extrusion Line from Jwell Machinery is engineered for high-output production of large-diameter and ultra-thick-wall HDPE pipes. It combines a high-efficiency single screw extruder, optimized pipe die, internal cooling technology, multi-track hauling, and automated downstream control to deliver stable production and accurate pipe dimensions.

Designed for pipe diameters from Ø400 mm to Ø2500 mm, the line is suitable for demanding applications including water supply, gas transportation, drainage, sewage systems, and industrial fluid transportation.

High-Output Extrusion Technology

The line uses the JWS-H series high-efficiency single screw extruder, featuring a specially designed screw and barrel structure. The optimized plasticizing process promotes uniform melt quality at lower processing temperatures, supporting stable extrusion and efficient energy use.

For large-diameter pipe production, the spiral distribution die is designed to provide uniform material flow around the pipe circumference. Combined with low-sag HDPE materials, the extrusion line can produce large pipes with substantial wall thickness while maintaining reliable dimensional stability.

Advanced Internal Cooling and Sizing

The extrusion die incorporates an in-mold suction pipe internal cooling structure to improve heat removal during the production of large-diameter pipes. This design helps control pipe deformation and supports consistent wall thickness during high-speed production.

The hydraulic opening and closing two-stage vacuum tank provides efficient sizing and cooling control. Computerized centralized control coordinates the vacuum tank, tractors, cutter, and other downstream units, improving production consistency and reducing operator workload.

Stable Hauling and Cutting

Multiple crawler tractors work together to provide stable traction for large and heavy pipes. The coordinated hauling design helps maintain accurate pipe dimensions and reliable production speed.

A chipless cutter provides clean pipe cutting without generating conventional cutting chips. An optional wire rope tractor is also available to simplify the initial operation and handling of large-caliber pipes.
