Nickel Alloy Heat Exchanger is a heat exchanger commonly used in the chemical process industry. As the name suggests, this type of heat exchanger consists of an outer shell filled with a bundle of tubes and sealed at each end by a tube sheet that separates the tubes from the outer shell.
Product composition
Fixed Tube Sheets: Two fixed tube sheets are attached to the housing, a bundle of straight tubes is attached between the tube sheets and contains baffles to direct the flow around the tubes to create the required heat transfer. A channel cover assembly is attached to each tube sheet.
Floating Tube Sheet: This design is similar to the fixed tube sheet design, except that one tube sheet is allowed to move axially within the housing while the other is fixed. This configuration allows the tube bundle to be removable.
U-Tube: Consists of a straight tube bent into a U-shape, terminating in a tube sheet at both ends. Tube bundles are equipped with supports or flow baffles. The tube sheet/bundle is placed in the shell and bolted between the head flange and the shell flange. A head assembly is required to guide fluid in and out of the tube bundle. This configuration allows the entire tube bundle to be removable.
