Polypropylene Absorbent Construction

The universal absorbent pads feature a composite construction consisting of one layer of lint-free spun-bond fabric and one layer of melt-blown polypropylene. The spun-bond layer provides a clean, durable surface, while the melt-blown layer delivers the primary absorption performance. Ultrasonic bonding integrates the layers without conventional stitching or adhesives, helping maintain consistent product quality.

Polypropylene is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, recyclable, and resistant to water absorption. This makes the material particularly suitable for capturing hydrocarbons and oil-based liquids. The pads absorb various forms of hydrocarbons on contact and help prevent spilled liquids from spreading across working areas.

Dimpled Surface for Faster Wicking

A dimpled surface pattern helps improve liquid contact and accelerate wicking. When oil reaches the pad, the textured surface helps distribute the liquid through the absorbent structure, allowing it to be captured efficiently. This design supports faster response during maintenance work, accidental spills, equipment leaks, and daily industrial cleanup.

The ready-to-use pad format also eliminates the need for loose absorbent materials, making storage, deployment, and disposal more convenient for industrial users.

Specifications and Custom Options

The standard grey universal absorbent pad measures 40 × 50 cm, with 200 pieces per bag and an absorption capacity of approximately 120 L/B. Available product configurations can provide absorption capacities from more than 105 L/B to more than 135 L/B.

The pads are available in different weights and surface constructions to meet specific application requirements. Options include 100–400 GSM, dimpled, perforated, or compound structures, as well as no scrim, single-side scrim, double-side scrim, and single-side PE film configurations.

Wide Industrial Applications

Universal absorbent pads can be used around machinery, production lines, workshops, warehouses, garages, transportation facilities, maintenance areas, oil-handling locations, and storage sites. They are suitable for absorbing oil drips, hydrocarbon leaks, and accidental liquid contamination before the spill spreads.

Liyang also provides white oil-only absorbent pads and yellow chemical absorbent pads for applications requiring more specific liquid separation. General absorbent rolls are available when larger continuous coverage is needed.

Liyang has a production capacity of approximately 10 tons per day, supported by dedicated production equipment and strict quality control procedures. The daily supply capacity can reach 500 bags per day, helping meet regular bulk purchasing requirements.
