When the product weight becomes heavy or the reach becomes large the RA400 is the perfect manipulator for the job. Equipped with special gripping tools, it is particularly suitable for off-center loads and can perform operations like inclination or rotation, even with the heavy weights, while maintaining excellent ergonomic and safety standards.
The RA400 Rigid Articulated Arm Pneumatic Manipulator, is a Parallel Arm, Articulated Arm style lift device with weight capacity up to 900kg. The RA400 will allow 360° continuous rotation at the column axis and 310° at the terminal arm. It can be mounted on a column or be overhead fixed or overhead running by mounting on an overhead trolley. (See machine specifications below)
The RA400 can be supplied with a wide variety of gripping end effector tools to grip most loads. The range of specially design tooling are for example: vacuum suction, mechanical or pneumatic clamps, magnets, scissor grips, hooks, mandrels and similar.
