Carbon Fiber Sheet
Carbon fiber board is a high-performance composite panel primarily reinforced with carbon fibers and cured using a resin matrix (such as epoxy resin).
Carbon fiber board is a high-performance composite panel primarily reinforced
with carbon fibers and cured using a resin matrix (such as epoxy resin).
Carbon fiber board has the following characteristics:
1) High strength & lightweight: It is over five times stronger than steel
while weighing only 1/4 to 1/5 as much.
2) High rigidity & fatigue resistance: It has a high elastic modulus,
minimal deformation, and maintains stable performance under long-term cyclic
loads.
3) Corrosion resistance: It resists damage from acids, alkalis, and salt
spray.
4) Design flexibility: Mechanical properties can be optimized through layup
design (e.g., 0°/90°/±45° directional stacking) to meet anisotropic
requirements.
5) Electrical conductivity & electromagnetic shielding: Its natural
conductivity makes it suitable for electronic device shielding or static
dissipation.
Carbon fiber is commonly used in aerospace for wing panels and supports, in
the automotive industry for body panels or enclosures, and in applications such
as sports equipment, industrial machinery, construction, and electronics.
